Kagura Tokyo Chicken Ramen - Lot 10
About This Spot
Step into Kagura Tokyo Chicken Ramen at Lot 10, and you’re gently swept into a space where the hum of Bukit Bintang softens into something a little more intimate and thoughtful. Tucked away on the fourth floor food court, this spot feels like a quiet pause amid the city’s steady pulse, inviting you to slow down and savor the moment.
The atmosphere is warmly familiar yet distinctly Japanese, with subtle nods to comfort that promise more than just a meal—it offers a small escape within Kuala Lumpur’s vibrant rhythm. The space isn’t rushed or crowded, but rather comfortably paced, creating a chance to catch your breath and connect with simple pleasures: the rich aroma of broth simmering, the gentle clatter of chopsticks, and the warm exchange between kitchen and table.
As you settle in, the menu reveals itself through the lens of balance and care. Here, ramen feels thoughtfully curated to hit that sweet spot—creamy but never overwhelming, rich yet invitingly light. Whether it's the depth of the black garlic blends or the gentle heat in the spicy variations, each bowl is a quiet conversation between textures and flavours, crafted to enhance the familiar without losing gentle originality. Those seeking something a little different will find comfort in dishes like the savoury omelette fried rice or tender gyoza, each plate carrying the same quiet attention to detail.

There’s an ease to dining here that encourages you to relish each bite, without the pressure to order everything at once. It’s a place to appreciate the art of simple, heartfelt cooking within a bustling city backdrop—a small sanctuary where time slows enough to enjoy the little joys of a thoughtfully prepared meal.

It was a Sunday well spent. After sending our son off at his bus rendezvous in Cheras and dropping a faulty Samsung watch at the Pavilion service center, we decided to take the “tourist in our own city” approach — walking around Bukit Bintang, Lot 10, and soaking up the KL buzz. That’s when we discovered the “Japan level” at Lot 10 for the very first time — and honestly, we were gob smacked. Hidden, yet vibrant. Rows of Japanese eateries, each tempting in its own way. We decided on Kagura Tokyo Chicken Ramen, reassured by the big Halal certification signs outside. We tried two bowls: the Spicy White Ramen and the Clear Ramen. Both were excellent — clean tasting, rich in flavor, and most importantly, free from that slight “ayam hanyir” aftertaste you sometimes get elsewhere. The broth was satisfying, the chicken charred just right, and the whole bowl felt comforting. It was so good that we didn’t just stop there — we actually ordered three more sets to go for our kids at home. That says everything about how much we enjoyed it. Overall, Kagura Tokyo Chicken Ramen is a gem for ramen lovers looking for a Halal-certified, authentic Japanese experience right in the middle of KL. Highly recommended, whether you’re on a casual city stroll or a dedicated ramen hunt.

Ahhh still my favourite ramen place. Ramen was ngam2 portion for me not so big and not that small. It just that chicken grill has downsized a bit. Inflation i guess? But the price maintain. Kagura knows how to feed Malaysians tastebuds. Even the rich ramen wouldn't be too creamy and muak. Just nice creamy and very flavourful. Looking forward for next time visit.

First-Time Ramen Delight! I recently visited Kagura Tokyo Chicken Ramen for dinner, and it was my very first time ever having ramen—what an introduction! The experience was fantastic. The ramen soup had an incredible aroma and was truly tasty and satisfying. For a first-timer, I couldn't have asked for a better bowl! The restaurant also has a nice atmosphere, which made the entire dining experience very pleasant.

Didn’t eat the ramen, but tried the omelette rice with curry instead. It’s so good! Even the fried rice is very delicious. Gyoza is great too! Would come again.

I'm a fan of thick and creamy broth so I really like the soup. Portion wise is also good—not too much and not too little. I would rate 7.8/10 for the ramen. The fried chicken gyoza was good but there's nothing outstanding about it so yea maybe that's like 6.7/10.

Went for our dinner ... with officemates. Located 4th for in Lot 10. Direct excess from top floor escalator. Easily spotted. Fill of people at rush hour and dinner time. Friendly staff. Good food. Choose wisely since some of the food spicy. Taste very good. The place not romantic ... a bit busy and noisy. Missed Japanese style ramen, ....? Yes this is it

I’ve already been to this restaurant twice because it’s sooo good! The broth was amazing, and there’s such a variety of menu options that I didn’t know what to choose. I’ll definitely come again to try other dishes. The staff were friendly, and the prices are affordable considering the portions. I think this could be my new comfort food :D
